Sure, going out to eat is great. But sometimes you crave the simple joys of eating at home – of popping something in the oven, or tossing some burgs on the bbq. Having people over. Eating whatever you want. And sitting wherever you want. No fuss. With M&M, there really is no restaurant like home.

There's an interesting story behind everything at Zulu Alpha Kilo. We created these plaques to hang around the office, over 30 ZAKtoids in all. Here are some of my favs.

This isn't a "No Aliens" or "No Astronauts" sign. It's a "No Egos" sign. It means we treat everyone who walks through our doors with respect. It's a belief we carry everywhere, from the kitchen to the boardroom. No idea is too crazy. No opinion is too small. If you're willing to share, we're willing to listen. So come on in. Your head looks just fine.
Album covers, literary classics, moments in history – these window covers serve to inspire anyone who walks through our doors. But they also serve another purpose: protecting us from sunlight. Turns out, Zuligan skin produces a higher than average concentration of vitamin D. So if you were wondering why we all look so extrordinarily happy and healthy, there's your answer.
It's always nice to have something to read at the urinal (though you probably shouldn't hold a magazine). Any kind of distraction is a welcomed departure from staring at pipe condensation and scraggily dark hairs (we can talk about this stuff, right? We're all men here.) Instead, you get to enjoy a silent, yet intellectual conversation in the comfort of your own head. Well, that's just about enough talking for one bathroom break. Enjoy the rest of your day.
Have a seat. Get comfortable. But don't even think about putting your feet up on your desk. Nothing irks the Z-man more than a pair of dirty shoes on a clean white surface. Maybe it's because he got the strap from his Grade 3 teacher, Mrs. Sutter, one too many times as a kid. All we know is he really can't stand it. So unless you're the type to scrub your soles daily, keep 'em grounded.
Okay. We admit it. Our coffee isn't the best. But catch us on a good day and our very own Italian barista might serve you an authentic Italian espresso. And if you get on Zak's good side, he might insist on taking you to The Black Canary for a cappuccino and a conversation. Come to think of it, you might just want to stick with the coffee. It is free, after all.
Look at this thing, isn't it neat? Something this large and unusual must have some sort of historical or creative significance to be hung on the wall so conspicuously. Truth is, we found it in the basement when we moved in four years ago. You have to admit. It does look pretty cool. There's something about its partially rusted nature that we find quite pleasing. Just goes to show you that true creativity can come from anywhere.
Here’s a mixed bag of stuff I’ve made.
